The best advertising that your holiday cottage can get is direct from your guests. Testimonials are an excellent way of finding out what is working (or not) and happy guests are more often than not guests that will return again!
Our guests are often happy to provide testimonials and allow us to use them on our websites and other advertising sites too. Here's some of the most recent.
"The birthday surprise went really well and we had a lovely stay at Riverside House. The location and house are beautiful (my husband said Riverside House would be his dream home). So holiday cottage owners, don't forget to ask for testimonials, use them in marketing materials, on your website and social media. Also use your guests comments to find out what they think about your holiday cottages and immediately address anything that wasn't up to stratch. Guests will appreciate you getting back to them with how you have resolved things.
Use the opportunity to carry on a conversation with your guests after they have stayed. Try and keep it chatty and gently suggest if they would like to come again or recommend a friend. Use this opportunity to keep your holiday cottage in their mind for the future.
