Looking for something extra after the experience of the Monsal Trail?
The Tissington Trail is another great route for cyclists and walkers, easily accessible from our holiday homes and suitable for all the family. Running from just north of Ashbourne to Parsley Hay, the Tissington Trail is a reasonably flat route of 13 miles interspersed with car parking access areas. There are also cycle hire points (one at each end of the trail) at Ashbourne and Parsley Hay.
The High Peak Trail starts where it joins the Tissington Trail at Parsley Hay and runs to Cromford (near Matlock). Again, parking is provided and bicycles can be hired at Parsley Hay and Middleton Top.
